Gizmos

Gizmos is located at M G Road 62-A. We have been in this little spot for a good while now. The shop is packed with all sorts of small electronics and gadgets. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a delivery of new boxes. We spend quite a bit of time just trying to find where we put things the day before. The MG Road area is always humming with people, so there is never a quiet moment. We like being at 62-A because it’s easy for people to find us once they know where the landmark buildings are. Inside, the shelves are a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep things organized enough so we can find what a customer is looking for. It’s just a small team of us here. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have our counter, a few chairs for when our legs get tired, and a lot of stock piled up. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the news or the weather. Other days, it’s a constant stream of people asking about this or that. We just take it as it comes. It feels like home after so many years of working in the same four walls. We know the other shop owners and we help each other out when someone needs a hand or some change.
