We are based over in the Ericsson Forum, which is part of that big DLF Cyber City area in Sector 25A. It’s a very different vibe from a small street shop because everything is glass and tall buildings. Even so, our daily routine is pretty grounded. We spend our hours at our desks, dealing with the technical side of how phones and networks talk to each other. The building is always full of people in a hurry, carrying laptops and rushing to meetings. We usually grab lunch at one of the spots nearby or just eat at our desks if things are busy. It’s a lot of looking at screens and trying to solve problems before they get too big. The view from the windows is mostly other office blocks and the metro line snaking through the city. It’s a modern place, but we try to keep things simple in our own workspace. We don’t really go for the big speeches or fancy titles; we just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes the elevators take forever, and that’s when you end up chatting with people from other floors. It’s a massive complex, but after you’ve been here a while, you start to recognize the regulars at the coffee stand. We’re just one part of the huge crowd that shows up here every morning to keep things working. It’s tiring but interesting work for us, even if it’s mostly just sitting in front of a monitor all day.
