Delicious Darbar

Delicious Darbar is at H-16 in the Qutab Plaza Market. This is in DLF Phase 1, which is a very active part of Gurgaon. The market is always full of shoppers and people just walking around. Our shop is small, and the kitchen takes up most of the space. We have been here for a good while and we feel like part of the furniture. We don't have any fancy marketing plans or a board of directors. It is just a few of us making food for the people who visit the plaza. It gets very hot in the summer, especially with the stoves going all day, but we just get on with it. We handle everything from buying the produce in the morning to scrubbing the floors at night. It is a lot of physical work and there are no shortcuts. Most of the folks who eat our food live nearby or work in the other shops in the market. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the food is ready when people are hungry. It is a simple, honest business and we like the busy atmosphere of Qutab Plaza. We are just a local shop doing our thing every day, year after year, and that suits us just fine.
