D P Travels

You can find us at D P Travels, located right in Vyapar Kendra on the ground floor. The exact spot is 185, Block-C in Sushant Lok, Gurgaon. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just wander in while they’re doing their shopping. We’ve been here in Sushant Lok for a long time. The office is small and filled with brochures that we try to keep organized, though they always seem to end up in a mess. We spend most of the day looking up train times and bus schedules for folks. It’s mostly local people who come to see us. We know a lot of them by their first names now. Gurgaon can be a stressful place, so we try to make things simple for anyone trying to get out of town for a bit. We have a couple of old computers that are a bit slow, but they get the job done eventually. It’s not a fancy travel agency like the ones you see in the malls. We just have a few desks and some chairs for people to wait. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up, but we just open the door to let the breeze in. My brother and I run the place mostly. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just a reliable place for the neighbors to get their tickets. Vyapar Kendra is always bustling, so there's never a dull moment looking out the window at the crowds.
