We are based at P No-249-F in Phase 4 of Udyog Vihar, Section 18. This part of Gurgaon is very industrial, so there are always trucks moving and people rushing around the streets. Our office is just one of many in this sector. We deal with industrial matters and coordination between different groups. It involves a lot of meetings, though they are not always the exciting kind. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our desks dealing with a constant stream of emails and phone calls. The building is functional and does not have any unnecessary decorations or art on the walls. We have been here long enough to know the best times to avoid the traffic on the main road, though it is still a gamble most days. We do not have a big marketing department writing things for us. This is just a place where work gets done. It can be a bit dusty with all the construction and movement outside, but we keep the inside as orderly as possible. We do not talk much about goals or grand plans; we just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Whether it is helping a member or organizing a small gathering, we just get on with it. It is a practical environment for practical work. Being in Udyog Vihar means we are right in the middle of the action, which is helpful.
