Chwala Tent House

We have been running Chwala Tent House on M G Road in Sikender Pur for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent checking the fabric and making sure the iron poles are in good shape for the next job. It is not exactly glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. People around here usually just drop by when they have a wedding coming up or maybe a small prayer meet at their house. We have a small crew that knows how to handle the heavy lifting. The traffic on MG Road can be a real headache when we are trying to load the trucks, but we manage. You might see our bright colored drapes hanging out to dry sometimes. We don't have a big fancy office, just a practical space where we keep the chairs and the carpets stacked up high. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and a sudden rain makes everything twice as heavy, but that is just part of the tent business. We know the local streets well because we are always driving back and forth to different venues. My brother handles the scheduling while I look after the inventory. We try to be honest about what we can do and what we cannot. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who saw our name on a board at another party. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the work done right without any extra fuss or big promises.
