Chinese & Thai Caf

You can find us on the 1st floor of Regent Square, which is part of the Jmd building in DLF Phase II. It’s a busy part of Gurgaon, 122002. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up or take the lift, but we get a lot of office workers from the buildings nearby. Chinese & Thai Caf is just a small operation under Star Leisure Services. We aren't a giant chain, just a kitchen and some tables. The morning starts with chopping vegetables and getting the sauces ready. The smells in the kitchen can get pretty strong by noon. Gurgaon is always moving fast, and DLF is the center of a lot of that, but inside the cafe, we just focus on the orders. It’s a lot of heat and steam most of the day. We don't have a lot of space for fancy decor, so we just keep it clean and functional. The staff stays busy during the lunch rush when everyone comes out of their offices at once. After that, it quietens down for a bit before the evening shift starts. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the security guys and the other shop owners. It’s just a regular job for us, making food and making sure the inventory is right. We don’t really use big words to describe what we do, we just show up and cook.
