Cell Shoppe

Being out here on Old Delhi Road means there is always noise from the traffic. Cell Shoppe is right in the middle of it all. People come in with cracked screens or phones that won't charge anymore. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and wires under a lamp. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time. The road outside is always under some kind of repair or just busy with trucks. We have a glass counter where we keep some of the accessories like covers and cables. It's dusty work because the door stays open to let people in. Sometimes we have to explain that a part will take a few days to arrive. Most people are okay with that. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The name Cell Shoppe is simple enough. We don't do much else besides phones and basic electronics. It can be frustrating when a repair doesn't go right the first time but we just keep at it. Old Delhi Road is a long stretch and we have seen many shops come and go. We just stay here and do our thing. The light in the shop is a bit bright but it helps us see the small parts inside the handsets. It is just a regular day-to-day business for us here, fixing whatever comes through the door.
