Canton Spice

Canton Spice is sitting in Shop No-17 and 18 inside the Cyber Hub area. If you are standing at the Starbucks in DLF Cyber City, you can just look across and see us. It is a very loud and fast place to be, mostly because of all the office buildings nearby. During the lunch hour, it gets really frantic. We have people coming in from their desks, still talking on their phones, wanting something quick to eat. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic with the sound of woks and the smell of garlic and vinegar hanging in the air. We aren't trying to be a quiet, romantic spot. It’s more of a place where you sit down, eat your noodles or chicken, and then head back to work or catch your ride home. The tables are close together because space is tight in Gurgaon. Sometimes we have to move things around to fit a bigger group of coworkers. The staff is usually running back and forth with plates. We don't have time for a lot of talk, we just focus on getting the food out before people have to go back to their meetings. It’s just how things go in Cyber Hub. When the sun goes down, the lights in the hub get bright and we just keep the kitchen going until the last office workers leave for the night. It is a lot of work but we are used to the pace.
