Billo Tent House

Sheetla Mata Road is always busy, especially during the wedding season, and that’s where Billo Tent House is located. We are right by Harnrayan Place. Our work is mostly physical, hauling heavy poles, colorful fabrics, and chairs from the warehouse to different venues. It’s hard work and we usually end the day pretty tired. We don’t have a fancy office, just a space filled with rolls of cloth and stacked furniture. When someone has a function, they come to us to make it look decent. We’ve done big weddings and small backyard gatherings. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to rush to make sure everything stays dry. That’s the stressful part of the job. I’ve been doing this for years, and I can tell you exactly how many chairs will fit in a space just by looking at it. We don't use any computer software for our layouts, just a bit of chalk on the floor or a rough sketch on a notepad. Our workers have been with us for a long time, and we’re like a big family. We know the roads around Gurgaon like the back of our hands because we’re always driving the trucks around. It’s a simple business of helping people celebrate, and we take it one event at a time. It's dusty and loud work, but seeing a place look nice at the end makes it okay.
