You can find us at the Pathreri New Market, right near the bus stand in Patodi. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of different faces every single day. People are always in a hurry to catch their ride, so they pop in for a quick recharge or a pair of cheap earphones for the trip. Our shop is quite small, but we pack it with as many phone covers and screen guards as we can fit on the walls. It’s noisy because of the buses honking and the people shouting for passengers right outside our door. We’ve gotten used to the constant movement and the diesel smell. Sometimes someone will leave their phone for a repair while they go run errands in the market for an hour or two. We do our best to get it fixed by the time they come back to head home. It’s not a fancy electronics store, just a local place for mobile needs. We have a little fan that keeps us cool behind the counter, and we usually have the radio playing some local music. The floor is just plain concrete and we keep our inventory in plastic bins under the desk. It’s a straightforward business with no extras. We enjoy being part of the market hustle and bustle.
