Azzurro Restaurant

We are located over at D-147 in the Shopping Complex on Arjun Marg. If you spend any time in DLF Phase 1, you probably know the area pretty well. It’s a lively spot, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to the market. Our kitchen starts getting busy long before the first person walks through the door. There’s always chopping to do or a floor to sweep. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve tucked the tables in so it feels comfortable enough. We don't go for anything too flashy; the walls are simple and we use plain napkins. Most of our day is spent making sure the stoves are hot and the ingredients are fresh. Sometimes the Arjun Marg traffic makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get close, so we end up carrying bags of produce from down the street. It’s a lot of work keeping a restaurant running in Gurgaon. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people who live nearby and just want a meal without any fuss. The staff here has been around for a while, so we all know how the kitchen flows. When the lunch rush hits, it gets loud and the air gets thick with the smell of cooking, but that’s how it should be. At the end of the night, we turn off the lights, lock the glass doors, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow morning.
