Ashok General Store Tour & Travels

We’re located in Manesar, right across from the Gurgaon Gramin Bank. It’s a bit of a mix here at Ashok General Store Tour & Travels. One side of things is just the regular store stuff people need every day, and the other side is where we handle the travel bookings. It makes for a busy day, switching between selling milk or snacks and then talking to someone about a bus ticket or a car rental. It started out as just a small shop and then we added the travel part because people kept asking for it. There’s usually a few of us behind the counter, trying to keep everything straight. It can get a bit crowded when the bank across the street is busy and people pop in here while they wait. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few family members and friends helping out. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got some posters on the wall for different travel spots and shelves full of groceries. It works for us. We’ve lived around here a long time, so we know most of the faces that come through the door. It’s nice to have that connection with the neighborhood. You never know who’s going to walk in next or what they’ll be looking for. It keeps us on our toes, that’s for certain. We just take it one customer at a time and do what we can.
