Arnav Tent & Decorators

Out here in Rohtash Nagar, specifically at 1157-1 in Shahdara East, we run Arnav Tent & Decorators. It is a busy life, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants things done at the same time. We spend most of our days loading poles, fabrics, and chairs onto the trucks. Our warehouse is usually a bit of a jumble with different colored cloths and stacks of lighting equipment. It gets loud when we are testing the generators or moving the heavy metal frames around. We aren't the type of people who wear suits or sit in fancy offices. Most of the time, our clothes are a bit dusty from working at different sites. We’ve set up tents for all sorts of things, from small backyard gatherings to the big celebrations that take over a whole street. People come to us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy computer programs to show designs; we just talk to people and figure out what they need for their space. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains suddenly, but we just deal with it. It’s hard work, but seeing a place look completely different after we finish is okay. We’ve been at this address for years and people know where to find us. It is just honest work that keeps us moving.
