Amit Communication is right there at the Ghatta More intersection in Sector 56, Gurgaon. This part of Wazirabad is always moving. You can hear the constant honking of cars and the rumble of the buses going past the door. We have been in this spot for quite some time now, watching the city grow up around us. The shop is small and focused on mobile phone services. We do a lot of recharges for the people living in the nearby apartments and the workers passing through. Inside, the walls are lined with various chargers, earphones, and phone covers that we have collected over time. It is a bit cramped, especially when we are trying to fix a phone and someone else is asking for a new SIM card. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the business well. The floor is just simple tile and we have a small television in the corner that we sometimes watch when things are slow. During the summer heat, it gets quite stuffy, so we keep the door wide open and hope for a breeze. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we are honest and will tell them the truth about their gadgets. It is a humble place, nothing like the big electronics stores you see in the malls. We just provide a needed service for the people who live and work around Sector 56.
