Abw Group

Working at Abw Group means spending most of the day at Iffcko Ckock in the Abw Tower. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get around the chowk. It is a landmark building, though, so at least people don't get lost trying to find us. The tower is tall and has that modern feel, but our office inside is just a workspace like any other. We have rows of desks and some storage cabinets for all the files that seem to pile up no matter how much we organize. The windows give us a good view of the intersection, which can be entertaining when things get stuck down there. We spend a lot of time in front of screens, and the sound of typing is pretty much the background noise of our lives here. There is a small break area where we keep the water cooler and a microwave that someone brought from home. We don't really have any corporate rituals; we just show up and start working on whatever project is currently on the table. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the elevators are busy or when there is maintenance work happening in the building. It is a functional environment. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it is answering emails or sorting through documents. It is just the place where we spend our nine-to-five, trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
