Srinivasa Granites

Srinivasa Granites has been right here at 26-9/32 on Main Road for a good while now. Most people know Jinnah Towers, so it's not hard to find us if you're looking. It gets pretty busy out on the street most mornings with all the traffic passing by. We spend a lot of time just moving stones around the yard or hosing down the dust that builds up on the slabs. It’s hard work, honestly. My hands are usually pretty rough by the end of the day from handling the heavy edges of the granite. People come in and walk through the aisles looking at the different patterns we have in stock. Sometimes they stay for ten minutes and sometimes an hour. We don’t mind. It’s better they take their time. The trucks pull up right near the front of the towers to unload the new stock when it arrives from the quarry. That part can be a bit loud. The neighbors don't always love the noise, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with heavy materials like this. We have various thicknesses and colors just sitting there. Some days are slow and we just sit in the back with some tea. Other days, we’re constantly measuring and marking things off for people building their houses. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here on Main Road. Nothing too fancy, just the stone and the tools we need to get through the day and get the job done.
