Shiva Granites

We have been set up here on Sivalayam Street in Mangalagiri for a while now. Most people know us by the building at 7-12-51. It is a busy part of the town and there is always something going on outside. The shop stays pretty dusty because of all the stone we move around, but that is just how it is when you work with granite. We spend most of our days unloading trucks and showing people the different slabs we have in stock. Sometimes the sun gets really hot on the street, so we take breaks in the shade when we can. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get things done. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic picks up too much. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting when things get busy. People from around the neighborhood stop by to ask prices or just to see what new colors came in. We don't have a big office or anything like that. There is just a desk in the corner where we keep the papers. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet. We just take it as it comes. It is hard work moving these heavy pieces of stone, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood knows us and we know them. That is basically how we run things here in Mangalagiri.
