Alnoor Rocks

Alnoor Rocks is located out at 325, Bethasam Street in the Santhamagula Mandal area. We are specifically at the X Road Village in Prakasam. It’s a bit out there, but that’s where the space is for all these heavy rocks. Working with stone in Prakasam means dealing with a lot of heat. The sun beats down on the yard all day long. We have a lot of raw rock and some finished slabs just sitting out there. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of the wind and the occasional truck coming down the road. We spend our days sorting through the pieces and moving them around with the crane when it’s working right. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the end of the day, our clothes are usually a different color from all the stone dust. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our breaks. There isn’t much else around the X Road Village, so we mostly just focus on the work. People from the mandal know where we are if they need something for a project. We don’t do any fancy talking. We just show people what we’ve got in the stacks. It’s a quiet life out here on Bethasam Street. We just keep the rocks moving and try to stay out of the midday sun when we can. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. Not much else to say.
