Rama Technical Degree College

We’re located on the fourth floor of Sunanda Tower, right on Bank Road in Gorakhpur. It’s a busy part of town, so finding a parking spot can be a real headache most days. Being in a tower means we’re a bit removed from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. The college offers technical degrees, so we have some labs and computers set up in the rooms. It’s not a massive campus with green grass; it’s more of an urban college where every square foot is used for something. The elevator can be temperamental, so many of us have gotten used to climbing the four flights of stairs. It’s a good workout, at least. We have students coming in for different technical batches throughout the day. The hallways can get a bit narrow when everyone is changing classes. We don’t have a big cafeteria, so most people just go to the shops downstairs on Bank Road for their lunch. It’s a very practical environment. We focus on the lessons and the practical work. The staff here is pretty small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phones to fixing a stuck door. It’s just a regular city college trying to make things work in a crowded space. There’s always something to do, and the day goes by pretty fast. We try to keep things organized despite the limited space we have.
