You can find us right in front of the Sarraf Complex on Sumer Sagar Road. We are near Vijay Chowk, which is a very busy part of town especially because of Vijay Cinema being so close. There is always a lot of noise and traffic outside, but inside the institute, we try to keep things focused on the computers. We have several rows of machines set up for students who want to learn basic typing, software, or how to use the internet for their work. The building isn't brand new, but we keep the equipment running as best as we can. Every morning we come in, turn on the power, and make sure the fans are working because it can get quite warm in here. Most of the people who come to us are young students from nearby neighborhoods or people looking to get better jobs by learning some tech skills. We spend a lot of time sitting next to them, showing them how to navigate different programs. It is a lot of repetitive work, but seeing someone finally understand a piece of software is what fills our day. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to spend an hour on the phone with the provider, which is frustrating for everyone. But mostly, it is just a steady flow of people coming in for their scheduled slots. We keep a sign-in sheet at the front desk to manage the timing and make sure everyone gets their turn.
