Amrds Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Amrds Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based right here in Village Patpara Rahlai. If you know the Agra area, you know it gets quite dusty and hot during the summer months. We are just a local bunch of farmers who decided to pool our resources. Most days you’ll find us checking on the fields or sitting around discussing the market prices in Agra. It's nothing special, just the daily grind of agriculture. We deal with whatever the weather throws at us. Sometimes the crop is good, sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle. We don’t really have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We share what we know and try to help each other out when the harvest time comes around. The village is small, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We operate out of Patpara and try to keep things simple. We spend a lot of time worrying about water and fertilizer. It’s practical work. No one here wears a suit. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. That's the way it has always been in this part of the country. We just want to make sure our families are okay and the land stays productive for the next year. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours under the sun, but we are used to it by now.
