It's basically a home-based setup that grew a bit over time. We have several sewing machines set up in the main room and another area for cutting the fabric. It gets pretty loud when all the machines are running at once, so we usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. We do a lot of local orders. The workspace is usually cluttered with threads, buttons, and heaps of cloth waiting to be sewn. It’s not the most organized looking place but we know where everything is. My family helps out with the packing and the accounts. We don't really have a formal story about how we started, we just began making clothes because we knew how to do it. The street outside is usually busy with people and scooters. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the exact house number because the signs in Rajnagar can be a bit confusing. We just tell them to look for the house with the big windows. We work long hours when there is a big deadline, but that is part of the business. We focus on getting the stitching straight and making sure the sizes are right before we bag them up.
