Allys International

Allys International is located at 84/85 near the Anwar Ganj Railway Station, right on G.T. Road. It is a loud place to work, to be honest. You hear the trains pulling in and the conductors shouting, and the constant roar of trucks on G.T. Road never really stops. Our office is a bit of a walk from the main gate, and the stairs are steep. Inside, we have a main room where most of the activity happens. There are stacks of folders everywhere because we haven't quite moved everything to the computer yet. The windows are usually covered in a thin layer of dust from the road, no matter how often we wipe them down. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when guests drop by, which isn't very often. Most of our business is done over the phone or through mail. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit on high speed, but it keeps the air moving during those long, hot afternoons. We know the station guards and the guys at the nearby shops by name. It’s a busy, gritty part of town, but it works for us. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It's just a functional space where we handle the day-to-day tasks. Sometimes the internet is slow because of the weather, so we just take that time to organize the shelves. It’s a simple, steady life here by the tracks and we like it that way.
