Haji Anulhaq

We've been here in Salai for a good while now. Hapur village is where everything happens for us, and honestly, we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. My name is Haji Anulhaq, and most folks around here just know us by that name. It’s not a big fancy setup with glass windows or anything like that. We just open up the doors every morning and get to work on whatever needs doing that day. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty out here on the road, but that's just part of being in the village. We don't really do much advertising because people usually just walk in or hear about us from a neighbor at the tea stall. The building isn't brand new, and we like it that way because it feels more like home than a shop. We handle the daily tasks and try to make sure we don't fall behind on what people are expecting. If someone comes by with a question, we just talk to them straight. It's a simple way of running things, really. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or a bunch of computers making noise. Mostly it is just us and the tools we’ve been using for years. Being in Hapur, you get to know everyone. You see the same faces at the market every single day. It’s just a small spot on the map, but it keeps us busy enough. We don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. We just stay here in Salai and keep going day by day. That's pretty much all there is to tell about our operation.
