Vanya Fashion

Vanya Fashion is over on Street 5 in Azad Nagar. It’s a quiet little street compared to the main market areas. We like it this way because it’s easier to focus on our work without too much distraction. The shop is small and we have a few machines set up for the sewing. We’ve been at this spot in Azad Nagar for quite a while and most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just show up and do the work that needs to be done. The walls of the shop are a bit plain, but we have filled the space with fabrics and threads of all different colors. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at the same time, but we manage. The street outside is usually calm, though it can get a bit muddy when it rains. We spend a lot of our time measuring and cutting cloth. It’s a hands-on job and we don't mind the hard work. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things interesting. Our days are pretty repetitive, but there is a certain comfort in that routine. We finish our work, lock up Street 5, and head home just like everyone else. It’s a modest life and a modest shop, which is exactly how we like it.
