Down at G-10 in Udyog Kunj, things stay moving pretty much all the time. U. D. Food Products Pvt. Ltd is located in the UPSIDC Industrial Area, and being near Mehrauli Railway Station means there’s always a background noise of trains passing by. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, and the walls have seen a lot of batches come and go. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly a quiet neighborhood, but it suits the kind of food production we do. We start our shifts early when the air is still a bit cool. Most of our day is spent checking on the lines and making sure everything is moving like it should. We don't have much use for fancy words or big presentations. If you walked in, you’d see people in hairnets and aprons just focused on their tasks. It gets a bit hectic when we have a big order to get out before the afternoon pickup. The floors are kept clean, but the place definitely looks like a working factory. We deal with various ingredients and the smell changes depending on what we're making that day. It’s a practical life here in Ghaziabad. We take our breaks together, talk about the news, and then get back to the machines. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know, and we’ve been doing it right here by the tracks for years.
