Our place is over at Plot No. 7 in the Punjab Expeller Compound on Meerut Road. If you know the area, it’s mostly industrial, so there’s always trucks moving around and a fair bit of dust from the road. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a good few years now. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. It’s a workspace where we handle food products and get them ready to go out. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and making sure the machines are running like they’re supposed to. Meerut Road can be a nightmare with traffic, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get our loading done early. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. It’s noisy and sometimes it gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the work at hand. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to put out decent products that people actually want to buy. The compound itself is pretty old, but it serves our purpose. You won't find any big signs or bright lights here. Just a gate and a lot of boxes. It’s straightforward work for people who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders.
