Subhansu Readymade Garments

Our place is Subhansu Readymade Garments, located in the Jhandapur area of Lajpat Nagar Main Market. It’s a busy part of town, and the market is always full of people looking for deals. We fit right in with the other shops around us. We have been here for a while, selling mostly everyday wear. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use the wall space effectively. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling. Sometimes I have to use a small ladder to get things down for customers. It's a bit of a workout. We don't have any corporate backing or a big brand name. It’s just a local shop run by local people. We buy our stock from various suppliers and try to have a bit of variety. Jhandapur is a lively spot, and the atmosphere in the market is always energetic. We don't do anything special to attract people. They just see the clothes hanging outside and come in to check the prices. We try to be helpful but we aren't pushy. If you want something, it's there. If not, that's fine too. The shop floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it shows we’ve been here a long time. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. It’s a simple way to make a living in a big city. We don't expect anything more than a decent day's work.
