S.S. Engineering Works Gazhiabad

Over in Ghaziabad, you can find S.S. Engineering Works at house number 161 in Kalupura. We are right by the Ambedkar Bhawan, which is a good landmark if you are getting lost in the streets here. Krishan Kant is the name behind the place. It’s a local workshop through and through. The building is just a regular spot in Uttar Pradesh, with the 201012 pin code. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist or anything. You just walk in and you’ll see us working on whatever project is currently on the bench. There’s usually a lot of scrap metal lying around and the sound of welding or grinding is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how an engineering shop should look if people are actually working. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings or the broken parts and we get to it. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the shop feel like an oven, but we keep pushing through. People in the neighborhood know us as the place where things get built or fixed. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just want to keep the shop running and help out the folks who come to us with work.
