Retired Army Officer

I'm living in Sector-29, Noida now, at house 1874. After spending years in the army, being here is a major change. Life in the service was all about schedules and moving around. Now, I’m just a retired army officer settled in one place. Noida has a lot of energy, but my daily routine is much more relaxed. I still wake up early, a habit I suppose. I spend time reading the papers and maybe doing some light exercise. The house keeps me busy enough with repairs and maintenance. It’s a decent neighborhood. I don't have a staff or a command anymore. Just me and my family. Sometimes other veterans in the sector come over and we talk. We don't really do much besides the usual stuff. It’s funny how life changes once the uniform is off. I don't have any big corporate goals. I'm just living a quiet life in this part of the city. The sector is quiet enough, though Noida is always growing. I’ve seen a lot of things in my career, so I appreciate the stillness now. No big speeches or plans, just an old officer taking it easy in Noida. My days are my own. It's a different kind of freedom, one that took some time to appreciate. Just staying here at 1874 and doing what needs doing for my home and my family. It’s a good way to spend these years.
