New Multiple Engineering Work

Our workshop, New Multiple Engineering Work, is situated at Plot No 16 in Lane W 6 of the Srupu Industrial Estate. It is over in the Arya Nagar area, which is a big hub for all kinds of manufacturing. We have a lot of heavy machinery crowded into our space, so you have to watch your step when walking through. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings or oil spots here and there. We do a lot of lathe work and milling for other businesses nearby. It is a loud place when everything is running, and we usually have to shout to be heard over the drills. We are not a big corporation with departments; we just have a few guys who have been doing this for decades. Most of our tools are old but they still work better than the cheap new stuff you see today. We spend our mornings setting up the machines and our afternoons finishing up orders. The air is thick with the smell of cutting fluid and cold metal. Sometimes a customer will bring in a sketch on a piece of cardboard, and we will figure out how to make it. It is practical work that requires a lot of patience. We keep the doors open for air, so we see all the street traffic in Arya Nagar. It is just a regular engineering shop doing what we know.
