Skylar Agronomics Private Limited

Our office is at "Vasundhara" which is 2/7 Sarat Bose Road. It is a solid building in a part of the city that is always humming with activity. At Skylar Agronomics Private Limited, we do not spend our days out in the fields, but we think about them constantly. We are more on the technical side, looking at soil reports and drainage plans from our desks. The space inside Vasundhara is straightforward and practical. We have a few computers and some long tables where we spread out our charts and maps. It can be a little bit lonely sometimes compared to being out on a farm, but this is where the planning happens. We are not a big corporation with layers of management and red tape. If you call us, you are likely to talk to one of the people actually doing the work. We take our time with our tasks because in agronomics, you cannot really cut corners if you want things to grow. We see a lot of people coming in and out of the building throughout the day. We usually grab lunch at one of the small shops nearby and then get right back to it. Our windows look out over the street, so we see the city life going by while we focus on rural data. It is a bit of a contrast. We just do our best to provide practical information that makes sense for the farmers we work with. There is no flash here, just steady work.
