If you are driving down Meerut Road in Garhmukteshwar, you will find us near Bhajan Singh’s place in Chopla Colony. Siddhu Seeds Private Limited has been sitting here in Ghaziabad for a while now. We deal with seeds, which sounds simple enough, but there is actually quite a lot to it when you are trying to help people get a decent crop. The shop is usually busy with people coming in to ask about what to plant when the season changes. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we store what we have and talk to the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We know the local farmers around here because they are our neighbors. We talk about the rain, or the lack of it, and which seeds are holding up better against the pests this year. We don't try to act like we know everything, but we have seen enough seasons to have a good idea of what works. It is a basic business run by people who live right here. We like the rhythm of the work, even when it gets stressful during the planting months. We just try to be honest and keep things moving.
