Shri Shyam Ji Garment

Shri Shyam Ji Garment is located at B 123 in Vaishali. It’s not a huge place, just a decent-sized room filled with racks of clothes and stacks of plastic bags. We’ve got garments everywhere you look. Some are hanging up, some are folded on the tables, and others are still in the boxes they arrived in. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. The lighting isn’t the best, so we usually keep the front shutters all the way up to let the sunlight in. Vaishali is a pretty active neighborhood, so there’s always noise from the street coming in—cars, kids playing, and people talking. We spend a lot of time checking sizes and making sure the labels are right. It’s repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a fancy computer system; we just write things down in a big register that sits on the main counter. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know we don’t put on any acts. We just show them what we have, and if they like it, they take it. Occasionally, we have to move everything around to make room for a new shipment, which usually takes the whole afternoon and leaves us all pretty tired. That’s just a typical day for us here at the shop.
