Saqlain Exports

We are based in Shalimar Garden Extension 1, at 670/A. It’s a residential and commercial mix around here, so there is always something going on outside our door. Saqlain Exports is a small outfit where we handle various goods for shipping abroad. The space at 670/A is mostly taken up by storage and a couple of small desks where we do the paperwork. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We have rolls of packing tape and stacks of cardboard boxes everywhere you look. Most days are spent checking inventory and making sure everything is packed securely so nothing breaks. We’ve had a few leaks in the ceiling when it rains hard, so we’ve learned to keep the important stuff off the floor. It’s just a few of us working here, and we handle everything from the cleaning to the heavy lifting. We don’t really have a boss who sits in a separate room; we all just pitch in where needed. The neighbors are mostly nice, though they sometimes complain when the delivery trucks block the narrow street for a few minutes. We just try to get the loading done as fast as we can to stay out of the way. It’s a humble business, but we’ve managed to keep it going for a good while by just being consistent and showing up every morning to get the job done right.
