Sahil Readymate Garments sits in the Main Market of Deepak Vihar, which is part of Sector 62 in Noida. It’s a lively area, especially when the sun goes down and the street lights come on. We’ve been here for a good while now, selling all kinds of clothes to the locals. The shop is a bit small, but we pack a lot into it. You’ll see shirts and pants hanging from the ceiling and piled on the counters. It’s just me and sometimes my son helping out after his classes. We spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a close-knit community in Deepak Vihar. We get all sorts of people coming in, from students to older folks who have lived in Noida for decades. Usually, I spend the mornings checking the new bundles that come in from the suppliers. Some days are slow and I just sit on the chair outside watching the bikes go by. Other days, I don’t even have time to drink my tea before it gets cold. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a simple setup with wooden shelves and a few mirrors on the walls for people to see how things fit. We try to keep the prices fair because everyone knows everyone else around here and we want people to come back.
