Pundir Krishi Farmer Producer Company is based out of Takampura village. It is mostly run by families here who have been farming for a long time. Ram Pratap is one of the main guys helping keep things organized at the Mohan Pura location. We deal with everything from planting to selling what we grow. It is not an easy job and some years are better than others. We don't have big fancy words to describe what we do. We just wake up early and get to the fields. Living in a small village like Takampura means everyone knows everyone. We decided to form this company so we could buy supplies together and maybe get a better deal. It saves some money for the smaller farmers in our group. Sometimes the rain is too much and sometimes it's not enough. That's just how it goes here. We work with the tools we have and try to help each other out when someone gets sick or a tractor breaks down. Mohan Pura is a quiet place but we are kept busy with the crops. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us. We keep things basic and honest. Farming is what we know, so that’s what we do every day without much fuss. We just want to make sure the crops get sold for a decent price so we can keep the village going. It’s a lot of work but it’s ours.
