You can find Vishwakarma Engineering Services over in Rajiender Nagar. We are at Lat No. G- 3, Prem Kunj No. 8/ 5- A. It is tucked away in Sector 3 near Mohan Nagar. If you get lost just look for the place with the most metal shavings near the door. We do basic engineering work. Mostly it is about parts and repairs for various machines. It is loud and pretty dusty in the shop most days. We have got some lathes and some older equipment that still runs better than the new stuff you see today. The neighborhood is mostly houses so we try to keep the noise down in the evenings. It is a family-run kind of setup. My uncle started it years ago and now we all just pitch in to keep it going. We deal with a lot of local shops who need stuff fixed fast. No fancy suits or ties here. Just grease-stained shirts and heavy boots. It is hard work on the hands and my back hurts most nights. Some days the heat in the shop is almost unbearable but we get through it. We are not looking to be the biggest engineering firm in the city. We just want to do a solid job for the people who come in. If a part is broken we figure out how to make it work again. Simple as that. We do not have a marketing department. Word of mouth is how we stay in business.
