Our office is number 106 in the SRBC building on Plot No. INS. 12. We are situated in Sector 12 of Vasundhara, which is right near Kisan Chowk. Prayaas Fashion Out Of Focus Llp is a bit of a long name, but the work we do here is pretty straightforward. The office isn't very large, but we’ve squeezed in enough desks for the design team and the people handling the accounts. Being near Kisan Chowk means we have good access to transport, though the traffic at the intersection can be a nightmare during rush hour. We spend a lot of time looking at fabric swatches and talking to suppliers on the phone. The building itself is quite standard for Vasundhara, with a lot of other small businesses around us. You’ll often find us drinking tea from the stall downstairs while we wait for a courier to arrive. There’s a lot of paperwork piled up on the corner desk because we try to keep track of every little detail ourselves. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls; it's more about the metal cupboards and the functional wooden tables. The light coming in from the window is good in the morning, which helps when we're trying to match colors. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy office, but it’s where all the planning for our garments happens before they go to the factory. Most days we are just trying to keep up with the schedule.
