Praveen Readymade Garments

We are located at B 28 in the Main Market of Sahibabad, Janakpuri. Praveen Readymade Garments has been in this spot for a while now. It is a standard market shop with a wide glass front so people can see what we have as they walk by. We don't have any mannequins, just a few samples hanging up high. Inside, we have rows of pants and shirts for men. The floor is tiled but some of the tiles are chipped from years of people walking in and out. I sit at the front on a small stool near the entrance. It is a good way to see who is coming and to keep an eye on the street. Sahibabad is a busy area and Janakpuri market is usually full of life, especially on the weekends. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum quite loudly. I usually bring my own lunch from home and eat it in the back during a quiet moment. The stock doesn't change every day, but we try to bring in new things once a month. I talk to the customers about their families or the local news while they are looking at the clothes. It is a friendly atmosphere, not like those big cold shops in the city. We close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet down a bit. It is a steady way to make a living and I don't complain about it. We just do our work.
