Pal Reaymad Garments

Pal Reaymad Garments is based out of Hapur, specifically on Kuchesal Road Chopla, near Railway Road. Being so close to the railway means we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a loud sound you just stop noticing after the first week of working here. Our shop is filled with racks and piles of clothes that we’re working on. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of stock coming in. Most of the work is just stitching and packing things up for the local markets. We have a couple of heavy-duty machines that make a lot of noise, so it’s hard to hear each other talk sometimes. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter months, so we all wear heavy sweaters. We don’t have a fancy showroom; people just come to the back where we do the work. The address is easy to find because everyone in Hapur knows the Chopla area. We usually have a big pile of cardboard boxes near the entrance waiting to be picked up by the transporters. It is mostly family and a few neighbors working here. We don't really do anything besides make the garments and get them out the door. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to sit around and wait, but usually, there is plenty to keep us occupied. It’s just how things go on Railway Road for us.
