Nineteen Apparels Pvt Ltd

We are located on Kalpi Road in Kanpur. It is a busy stretch of road, as anyone from this part of the city can tell you. Nineteen Apparels Pvt Ltd isn’t a huge factory, but we keep busy enough. The building is pretty plain. We spend most of our time inside dealing with fabrics and machines. It gets quite noisy when everything is running at once. I’ve been working here for a while, and the routine is always the same. We get the raw materials in, and then the work starts. There’s always a lot of dust and the smell of new cloth in the air. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that because we don't really need one. Most people who come here are looking for work or picking up orders. It’s a practical environment. Kanpur is a tough place for business sometimes, especially with the traffic on Kalpi Road, but we make it work. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the clothes we produce are decent and that the bills get paid. Sometimes we fall behind on the schedule when a machine breaks down, but that’s just part of the job. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day.
