M/S Eastend Apparels

We operate out of a house in Sector 14, Vasundhara. It is house number 305. Ghaziabad is a crowded place, and our neighborhood is no different. Eastend Apparels is mostly about fabric, thread, and the sound of sewing machines running all day. It is not a factory in the traditional sense, more like a busy workspace in a residential area. We have stacks of cloth everywhere. Sometimes it feels like there is no room to walk. We deal with tailors and suppliers all day long. Some of them have been coming to us for years. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon and it gets quite warm inside. We usually have the fans going full blast. It’s a lot of manual work. People think making clothes is easy, but there is a lot that goes wrong. A needle breaks, or the fabric is the wrong shade, and you have to start over. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just walking past in Vasundhara. We just keep our heads down and stitch. There is a tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It is a simple life, really. We just try to get the sizing right and the seams straight. That is what keeps the business going day after day in this little corner of Ghaziabad.
