Mohit Marbles

Mohit Marbles is our shop located over in Vikaspuri at Gg-2/38C. This part of Delhi is always crowded, and managing a marble business here takes some effort. We deal with heavy stone every day, and our space is often packed with different slabs and tiles. It’s a residential area, so we have to be careful with the trucks and the noise. People from around Vikaspuri come to us when they are fixing up their houses or building something new. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It is just us and the stone. The street outside Gg-2/38C is usually busy with people going about their business. Moving marble in these narrow spaces is a bit of a challenge, especially when it rains and the ground gets slippery. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and homeowners about what they need. Some people want the best looking marble, while others just want something that will last a long time. We show them what we have in the stacks and let them pick. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We have been in this spot for a while now and know the neighbors pretty well. There is always a tea stall nearby to grab a drink during the breaks. We just keep the shop running and try to make sure every slab of marble gets to where it needs to go.
