Kota Stone Industries

Kota Stone Industries is located at B-26/2 in the Site-IV Industrial Area of Sahiabad. It is a very busy industrial zone with a lot of big trucks moving in and out at all hours. Our place is basically just a large shed where we process different types of Kota stone. We get the raw blocks in from the quarries and cut them down to whatever sizes the customers need. It is a lot of water and stone slurry everywhere because of the way the saws work. We have to wear rubber boots most of the day to keep our feet dry. It is definitely not a glamorous job by any stretch. We have a small group of workers who really know how to handle the heavy slabs without breaking them. We have been here in Sahiabad for a good while and we know the area well. We do not really have a showroom or a fancy reception area. Most of our customers are builders and contractors who know exactly what they are looking for. They just call us on the phone or come by the yard to check the current stock. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look nice for visitors. It is a working yard. We just focus on making sure the edges are straight and the stones are ready. Sometimes we have to work late to get an order out.
