Gange Marbles

Our shop, Gange Marbles, is located right in the thick of things near the Loni Lal Bagh Sabgi Mandi. If you know the Bal Ram Road area, you know how busy it gets with the vegetable market right there. The Khadja Sadak is always full of people and carts, so it can be a bit of a struggle just to get a truck in some mornings. We deal with all kinds of marble and stone right here in Loni. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a wide gate and lots of heavy slabs leaning against the walls. We spend a lot of time cleaning the grit off the stone so people can see the patterns properly. It’s a loud neighborhood with all the shouting from the mandi and the horns honking on the main road. We’ve been at this location for quite a while and have seen the area change a lot. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually pull the shade down a bit. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just drop by because they saw our name while buying their groceries next door. It’s a practical business and we just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the pieces don't crack during the move.
