Maryam Suhail

Working out of G-1002 on the ninth floor of Neelpadam 1 has its perks, mostly the view of Vaishali from up here. I’m Maryam Suhail, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. Sector 5 is a busy part of Ghaziabad, but once you’re up in the apartment, it gets a lot quieter. I decided to set up my work here because it’s convenient and keeps my life integrated. It’s not a traditional shopfront, so people usually call before they come up. I’ve turned one of the larger rooms into a proper office area with enough space for my equipment and a few chairs. It’s a bit lived-in, with coffee mugs on the coasters and piles of papers that I promise to sort through every weekend. I don't really believe in those sterile, empty offices you see in magazines. This is a real place where real work happens. Sometimes my neighbors pop in to say hello, and that’s fine by me. I’ve been doing this for a few years now, just keeping things steady and reliable. I don't go for big advertising or anything like that. People find me through friends or neighbors who know I’m here. It’s a very personal way to run things, and it works for me. I just take the lift down at the end of the day, and I’m already home, which makes the long hours a lot easier to handle in the long run.
