Manglam Garments

We are right here near the Ghanta Ghar in the Subzi Mandi area, at number 108. It is a busy place, especially in the mornings when the vegetable trucks come in. My family has had Manglam Garments for quite some time now. Most days I am here by eight or nine to open the shutters. The dust from the market gets everywhere so the first thing I do is wipe down the glass counters. We have a lot of regular clothes for men and some for kids too. It is not a fancy store with big lights or anything like that. We just have simple racks and some shelves stacked with shirts and trousers. The clock tower is always chiming in the background, which lets me know how the day is going without looking at my watch. People stop in after they finish their grocery shopping because they see something in the window. It gets really hot in the afternoons but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. I know most of the people who walk past because they live in the neighborhood. We do not do much advertising or anything. We just open up and wait for people to come in. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive from the city, but we manage with what we have on the floor. It is just a basic shop where you can get a decent shirt without a lot of fuss. I usually sit on the wooden chair near the entrance and talk to the other shopkeepers when it is slow. It is a good spot.
