Gagan Masala

Gagan Masala is our little operation over at Factory No. A-0/92 in Lal Kuan. We are situated quite close to the Bhatia Mor Flyover, which is a busy landmark that most people in the area use to find us. It’s not a quiet place to work. Between the traffic from the flyover and the noise of our own grinding machines, there’s always something going on. We specialize in masalas, and the smell of the spices is so strong it stays with you long after you’ve gone home. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of managers. It’s just the workers and the machines in a pretty cramped space. We focus on getting the spices ground up and packed so they can get out to the shops. It’s dusty and hot in the summer, but we’ve been doing this for a long time. Lal Kuan is a rough and ready industrial area, and we fit right in. We don't spend money on fancy signs or trying to look corporate. We just want to make sure the spices are fresh and taste like they should. Our team is small, mostly people from the surrounding neighborhoods who walk or bike to the factory. We aren't looking to change the world. We just want to keep the machines running and provide for our families. It’s a regular, hardworking life here at the factory, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just do our best.
